{"id":151,"date":"2010-09-13T22:27:43","date_gmt":"2010-09-14T03:27:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/resipsacoaching.wordpress.com\/?p=151"},"modified":"2022-11-17T14:04:14","modified_gmt":"2022-11-17T19:04:14","slug":"reflection-introspection-motivation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/driveconsulting.net\/blog\/?p=151","title":{"rendered":"Reflection, Introspection, Motivation."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.driveconsulting.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/DRiVE-logo1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-982\" title=\"DRiVE logo\" src=\"http:\/\/www.driveconsulting.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/DRiVE-logo1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>September 13, 2010 \u2013 The unofficial end of summer (Labor Day) has come and gone.\u00a0 The new school year has begun, and we are in the middle of the Jewish New Year season \u2013 a time traditionally devoted to reflection and introspection.\u00a0 The slight chill in the air reminds us of the changing seasons, of time moving forward.\u00a0  And that raises the question for each of us to consider:\u00a0 Aside from chronologically, is my life moving forward?<\/p>\n<p>Too often we allow the stresses and circumstances of life to deflect our minds from considering this question.\u00a0 To effectively approach this question we need to reflect on our starting point, be introspective about our current position and motivate ourselves to reach our chosen, future point.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Where was my career a year ago? \u00a0 \tReflection.<\/li>\n<li>What accomplishments have I \tachieved this year?\u00a0  Introspection.<\/li>\n<li>How will I achieve my new goals \tthis year?\u00a0  Motivation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reflection. Introspection. Motivation. \u00a0 These are the three keys to moving our lives and careers forward.\u00a0  Each key requires an honest, open-minded look at ourselves.\u00a0 Often shifts in perspective are called for as we clear away the smoke screens created by our inner blocks.\u00a0  Such is the process of creating new habits as we move forward with intention.\u00a0 The work is great, the time short and only the strength of our wills can bring about success.<\/p>\n<p>Consider the possibilities.<\/p>\n<p>Adam J.
